Inclusion Statement

Last Updated: August 6, 2025

The Pagan Assembly of Nova Scotia (PANS) is devoted to cultivating a warm, inclusive, and respectful community. We affirm the dignity and worth of every individual and strive to provide a safe, welcoming space for all, regardless of race, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, culture, physical or mental ability, spiritual background, or lived experience.

We recognize that diversity enriches our shared spiritual work. We are committed to fostering a culture where differences are not only accepted but celebrated, where every voice has value, and every person is encouraged to bring their full self to the hearth and the circle.

We acknowledge that creating an inclusive community requires ongoing effort, humility, and growth. We will listen actively, speak mindfully, and act with integrity — even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient. This work is spiritual work.

We invite Deity in all the many ways It is revealed to us, to bless us with the wisdom to act justly, the patience to listen deeply, and the courage to grow. May we be guided by the virtue of hospitality, not as mere politeness, but as a living practice of respect, compassion, and mutual care.

Together, we choose to stand beside all members of our community, in both celebration and challenge, as we build a space rooted in balance, justice, and shared piety.
